Wedding Details


To make planning your Austin, Texas wedding reception easier, we have compiled this list of items you may not have considered in the excitement of creating your special day.  Other questions are answered in the FAQ section.
  • Seating arrangements - With a choice of 5' rounds that can seat 8 or 6' rounds that can seat up to 10.
  • Ice sculptures & audio-visual equipment - Your wedding professional will work with you and an Ice Sculptor to custom design an Ice Sculpture and assist in any audio-visual needs.
  • Music, Photographer, Florist - Names and phone numbers are available from an extensive referral list.
  • General information – Upon confirmation, an initial non-refundable 25% deposit is required to hold your space. Our menus and pricing are subject to change without notice until a final contract is signed.  All Food and Beverage is subject to a Service Charge and Sales Tax.
  • Parking – Self and Valet parking available
  • Wedding Cake - Preferred bakeries are listed on our vendor list.
  • Gold Passport - Hyatt Gold Passport points are awarded for all food and beverage purchased for your wedding at the Hyatt Regency Austin. Two points are awarded for each dollar spent for all events starting after 5:00 p.m. Points can be used toward future overnight accommodations.
  • Guarantee - A final number of guests is required seven (7) business days prior to your event. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The hotel will prepare meals for 3% over the guaranteed count. Final charges are based on your guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is greater.
